Human beings are programmed to lead a healthy life for 100 years without any medications.  All species on earth are self-regulating and self-healing and humans are no exception.

Over the two and a half million evolutionary period, humans have remained healthy, active and strong. So, what went wrong in the past 50 years or so? Man started meddling with nature, that’s what!

Nature is extremely intelligent and we are not even close, even if we like to think so! When Mother Nature gives us fruits, she is intelligent enough to include fibre in them to help our bodies absorb the inherent nutrients. Man managed to remove the fibre from fruits and filter out the poison in the form of fruit juice and markets the same extensively, feeling very proud indeed!

Similarly, the day when grains made a foray into the world due to the emergence of organized agriculture, mankind was doomed. As decades rolled by, population increased and man was forced to genetically modify grains.

Our ancestors intelligently consumed a lot of saturated fat and lesser amount of carbohydrates in the form of Salads, Soups, Boiled Veggies, etc. They also fasted intermittently keeping their insulin levels low and steady and maintaining optimum health. Naturally, they did not suffer from any kind of lifestyle diseases.

While modern medicine has progressed tremendously in the field of trauma care and infection control, lifestyle diseases remain elusive and are looked at in a completely wrong perspective.

We have fallen victims to chronic ailments by treating dietary disorders with medicines. There is hope yet! We are in a unique situation where we can conquer and even reverse lifestyle diseases at any age.

Lifestyle diseases are just symptoms of an underlying cause. Modern medicine brands lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, thyroid, obesity and so on as chronic and just keeps them under control with medications.

Emerging research and scientific studies however show crystal clear that these conditions are just symptoms of an underlying root cause. Treating the symptoms is like constantly trimming the branches of a tree enabling the root to grow stronger.
